my kick start broke on my 86 250sx... when i kick it.. it isnt turning the motor...anybody got some ideas on what coulda happened?

 

hi there i have 85' 250 bigred with alittle of same problem but mine hasnt broke yet , mine kicks fine then sounds like it is still trying to engage and seems like its not connected but when i let it back up its fine again..the gears in there are probly stiped sometimes its right on outside of case or it could be broke inside on the shaft. u can usually find them on ebay pretty cheap.[img]i/expressions/beer.gif[/img]
