I need bearings for my swingarm. They are needle bearings that go in the swingarm where it attatches to the frame! The big pivot bolt/engine mount bolt goes through the frame, swingarm, engine, swingarm, frame and then a nut goes on then the brake assembly attatches to the bolt.
I tore it apart and the bearings where completely destroyed!!! The needles in the bearing where floating around. I checked ebay, bought a set for 81-82 and they don't fit!!!

 

What's the question... where to get them? Have you tried your local Honda dealer parts guys???

Yeah where can I find them?? I just found a great used swingarm on ebay. Has everything new and ready to go. I am going to try buying that. Thanks

 

Here is a couple of pics of those bushings if you are interested the guy's screen name is Xsystem and he carries bushings for 83-84 250r's as well as 85-86 models and 350x's[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Anyone know where this Xsystem guy is, or where on the web you can find bearings for the 84 250R?

I just ordered a set for my 86 250R rebuild. E-bay dealer has them, they are 13 bucks/pair. You probably just got sent the wrong year bearings.

 

1985-86 are different bearings.

 

But the dealer on e-bay has the 84 and earlier bearings as well, like I said, I'm guessing he got the 85's which is why they don't fit!
