1984 ATC 110 leaky f'n carb......

So, since I picked up an old 85 trx125 and got it running, the father in law has been wanting me to get his 1984 atc110 running for him....so a few weeks ago, I ordered a rebuild kit for the carb...stupid me, I ordered one that was for 79 to 82 or something like that...not sure what I was thinking, however, everything I needed was in there minus one small o-ring for a drain plug screw on the bottom of the float bowl....

anyway, everything worked as planned...got it all cleaned up, replaced the fuel lines, took the spark plug out, cleaned it (both ends), had to modify the spark plug end of the plug wire since it was too big to fit on the plug, ie, the metal holder inside did not fit snug on the plug tip so I squished it a bit to make it fit tight...then still chasing no spark I unscrewed the spark plug wire from the coil...the copper wires on both ends were corroded....so, I cut back a little insulation on the wire, cleaned off the corrosion, re-seated it into the coil several times to clean off the probe in the coil...then packed it with a little grease....then we were getting spark....

now, I get it all back together, poured in a little gasola, turned on the petcock, let it sit for a minute or two to let the carb fill up, engaged the choke, fired right up on the first pull.....

Did I mention that this has sat up for at least 5 years in an open pole barn?....

Now the only issue is I need to figure out how to get the carb from leaking...it seems it is leaking out the petcock mechanism....it has the outer piece of sheet metal that has the letters stamped into it, riveted to the diecast aluminum behind it...not sure if there is a fix for that or if it is a situation where you live with the leak or if you can drill out the rivets, thread the holes and then fix the leaky mechanism somehow......

Oh, I also need a headlight assembly if anyone has one for this beast....

Thanks

The fuel valve probably either has debris on the seat just work back and forth or is messed up and needs replaced
I would try
dratv.com
I just got a new fuel valve for my 82-110
I believe they also have headlight
Good luck
