Any hoses connected to actual fittings are for venting, and should not be connected to the mixture screw. disconnect it and see what happens.

I disconnected the hose from the screw to adjust it while idling...it seemed fine. It was like this when I got it...so, there is supposed to be a hose coming from a fitting on the upper SIDE of the carb just going nowhere? Seems odd to me.... I'll take a photo if I take it off again...

Thanks.

yes it is supposed to be connected to the vent on the carb. Its just a vent hose, and originally was longer and ran on top of the engine and dumped behind the engine onto the ground. nowadays alot of bikes have them runnig into the airbox to prevent clogging.

thanks for the info!

Well, I got the new brakes on and they work great...but it won't start now... turning the engine over with the plug out and touching the engine there is no spark...actually every once in a while there will be a spark, but definitely not consistent. I ordered a new plug... is there something else I could test?

Also, could someone give me the gap specs for when I get the new plug? Looking forward to getting this guy out on the trails!

Thanks!
