Default general questions about the 110

I looked in my manual and found the following, I am sure that the same would apply to your 110. I have a 84 Honda 200s
Answers:
1. 10w-40 regular oil is fine, make sure you do not use any synthetic oil
2. No oil filter, I have a oil filter screen which resembles a sewing thimble
3. Unsure I dont think you would have to do anything to the jets.
4. Change yor oil often especially if you ride a lot. make sure that your cables are not sticking ex. your brake cables, I never leave gas in the carb, I will turn off the petcock and run it until it dies. I use seafoam and will poor some in the tank which is suppose to help reduce deposit buildup.
5. This is an excellent forum which has helped me many times... I find that if you are specific in a question(s) you will have better sucess...more so than with broad question(s). Hope this reply helped. Treat like it anyother machine you own, after a muddy ride, I will wash it down and spray WD-40 on the chain and places that I feel it needs some lubrication. I do not use degreaser on my machine...my chain I think has sealed o rings that the degreaser may remove the grease/ oil resulting in premature failure. So I wash, dry with my compressor (to remove all moisture) then I will spray it with my WD-40. So far I have not had a problem.

Default general questions about the 110

On a 110 the oil screen is located inside the right engine side cover
Kind of a hassle
side cover must be removed then slide screen out clean reinstall
problem these days is you cannot just get a side cover gasket
Gotta buy complete gasket set
So unless your oil is really bad
just change oil
Until it is time for clutch then service screen
Yes 10w-40 I use the Honda oil in all my bikes
Have you purchased a manual yet if not that is first on list you will want Clymer M311
Look on dratv.com
They have allot of stuff for these including manuals
Change oil often is great
Main thing have fun but keep in minde these are older machines they do require maintnance
Thanks
Ray
