My cousin just picked up a 1981 250R in exchange for his $80 shotgun. Are they worth anything from a collectible stand point? What would the approximate value of it be? Anything he should know about it?

For $80 he got a hell of a deal... at a collectors stand point theres all kinds of questions , dose it run,shift ,move, all original and so on ... try this sight its only air cooled 250R's theres good people and alot of info
