i have two 1983 honda big reds one is in pretty good shape the other the rear fenders are broke off.
both run great and drive great. one has brand new knobby tires the other has a brand new front knobby the other tires are in great shape

a guy wants to trade me a 1989 yamaha moto4 350 that has been "restored" (i have not seen it yet) it has a set of mudlights with about 800km on them, motor was rebuilt by yamaha and was been board over .10 and it has a winch i dont know lbs or brand

i love my trikes but i would rather have some thing that i can put a plow on for the winter and some thing that is 4x4 with reverse

 

I have a 350x and I love my three wheeler but I think this sounds like a pretty decent trade for you as long as the moto 4 is in decent shape, I think you would get more use out of the 4 wheeler.

 

I,m shock the 89 Moto4/Big Bear needed a motor job! My 89 with a million miles is still going strong and it had a hard life. Great ATV, I sold it to a friend 3 years ago who rides with us to this day he loves it.

 

Question is, if the moto 4 is so good why does the guy want to trade it for Honda trikes? If you really want a 4 wheel with reverse I would sell both you 3 wheelers, or sell 1, keep 1 & look else where. If he is so eager to trade there must be a reason, maybe one you want to avoid. The fact that the engine had to be rebuilt is probably a sign of abuse or poor maintenance.
