Default Another ATC 70 ?

so i was riding today, and i shut off my '84 atc 70. and when i got back to start it, there was no spark. i assumed the condenser wires were to blame again, but once i got it apart they seemed fine. i re clamped them anyways, and tried starting it. now i see that if i continuously turn the kill switch from on to off while i pull it over, it will spark. is this a bad kill switch?

oh yea, after i saw the issue with that, i messed with the condenser wires again and now i have no spark anytime. is it ok for the wires that go to the condenser to be twisted together?

finally, last question, how many wires are supposed to be going to the condenser, because there is a copper wire coming from one of the coil things that i hooked into the condenser, does it belong there?

i'm probably going to buy a new condenser anyways, considering how badly i messed the clamps on this one up, they barely hold wires anymore.

Thanks. I don't know if i'm going to put that much money into it. If i did this would be good right? HONDA CT70 ATC70 SS50 Z50 XL70 CDI Electronic Ignition:eBay Motors (item 110343868792 end time Jun-26-09 23:10:18 PDT)

anyways, i'm ordering a new condenser and on/off switch and if that doesn't fix the issue, i may consider just buying a new primary coil alone, seeing as i don't need the headlight one. and if that doesn't work i might just re wire the whole thing. there isn't too much wire and its a simple circuit so it shouldnt be too hard.

thanks again.

oh ya, i have one more question.

that circled part above the condenser (felt), i don't have that. is it extremely important?

and the circled part near the points, is that where this goes? in between the flywheel rubbing area and the points?:*POINT's_CAM RUBBING_FELT (ALL_HONDA_POINTS) (CT90_CT110) (CT70_K0_TO_82) ( ATC'S_CT'S_Z'S) (8F)

or does that felt go in between forks on the condenser like in the pic.

thanks again.
