Default Third Wheel Tire Selection

Howdy yall,

My 85 200s is due for new tires. I'm just wondering: Can I always select a front tire that matches the rears? I have my eye on a set ITP mudlite XLs and would like to use one on the "third wheel" as well? Or does the front a more require a specific tread, size, ect will not affect handleing?

Thankx

Beer Season

I use a goodyear rawhide on the front of my 250 bigred, and bearclaws on the back, the combo works perfect, great stearing, and predictable cornering. Hope this helps.
