Need help with parking brake block off

I bought a Lonestar parking brake block off from Dennis Kirk and put it on my 350x, but I lost rear brakes at the same time. the stock thing I took off had a o ring and this new thing doesn't. Do I need to make a gasket or what? Please help

When you took the stock piece off did brake fluid come out? If it did you need to rebuild your caliper.
