honda built an atv with that same motor if memory serves me right
trx250
built from 1987-1989?....
funny front end......bit heavy.......but solid bike......
don't worry about a 3 to 4 wheeler conversion (add on front assembly)......just buy an atv
tried wheel spacers on the back
i have put 2 inch ones either side of my rear axle on my 87 250sx.......what a difference

Pudding, Thanks for the reply. I use the 3 wheeler hunting and some areas are really rocky. It would be nice to NOT run over the rocks with a front or rear tire, I could stradle the rocks with a 4 wheeler. I bought a TRX300 4x4 a few weeks ago and may just sell the 250sx. What has been nice about it is the small size and it gets around in the trees better than the bigger 4 wheelers. If I have someone hunting with me I usually ride the 3 wheeler so I'm not responsible for them getting hurt. Thought conversion would get rid of the problem. Hate to get ride of a good running trike.

Don't convert it! There are few enough nice running trikes around anymore. Where do you live? I'm sure you can find someone that will take it off your hands. The conversions are a PITA, and most of them are pretty weak as well.

250 SX, I live in southwest utah . 120 miles from Las Vegas Nevada. I have got a few bites on selling it but they want me to give it to them. It is ready for hunting so I may just keep it as back up for TRX 300 4x4. can e-mail pics.
