I really like the ATC 350 X I just bought but it feels kind of unstable. I was wanting to purchase a wider axel(which I think will eliminate the problem). But I was wondering if I should buy a solid piece axel or get on that is adjustable. But will the adjustable one be able to withstand ramping the bike.

i dont really know why you would want one for a 3 wheeler seems like it would make the front end less stable on turns

I am running 4" extended axles on my 2 atc 250r's. It makes a huge difference when going down the sides of hills. I can really powerslide now and get more speed in the corners. I believe that 4" might be a little much though. In the woods it's really tight sometimes. I recently bent one of the axles very badly after the left rear tire hit a tree while i was in third gear. It wasn't a durable, just a regular 4" non adjustable axle. It sent me over the handlebars. They are much stable though. The adjustable axle is just spacers that go on the inside spline just before the hub to lengthen it or shorten it. I would go for the adjustable. Durablue makes the best axle i have found. I jump my bike over the biggest jumps i can find and it holds up fine. They are very tough.

Thanks MEANGREENMACHINE. So you are saying that I should go with a Durablue adjustable axle. Where could I buy one?

There are lots of companies that sell durablue axles. You can go to their website at www.durablue.com. You should be able to find what you need.
