I just wanted to know if theses machines are pretty fast,what's the gear pattern??thanx!!

 

THE '83 250R IS PRETTY QUICK, I RIDE AN '84 WHICH IS ALSO THE AIR COOLED MOTOR, WITH A BUNCH OF MODS DONE TO IT AND I STAY IN FRONT OF MY FRIENDS LIQUID COOLED 250R'S. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY SHIFT PATTERN, 1 DOWN AND 4 UP.

 

my 83 is fast! only mods are; new head and twist throttle i love it, havn't been able to ride it for two weeks, went off a big jump and craked the swingarm. took it apart to tig weld it and now i'm waiting on $400 worth of piviot bearings and seals to get it back together, so i can ride once again. my point is they are fast and fun but expensive to repair!!!!!!!!!!!
