Yesterday after I got gas and everything ready for my ATC to be started, I start it up and I hear a weird noise coming from the engine so I shuht it off. My neghbor came up to my house to see it and I told him the noise it was making and he started it up and thinks it's the main bearing, which would make sense if you heard the sound. It's kind of like something whirling around and gets louder as you rev it. I don't want to put more money into it so I'll probably sell it, anyone know what it might be worth?

A non running or bad running one here goes for $200-300, running ones go for $600-$1000 usually.

I'd give 2-3 for the hatched motor if the cases are undamaged and the transmission is good. You could part it out on Ebay, just clean the peices up well and get good pictures. You could probably get quite a bit more for it this way than trying to sell a machine that doesn't run right. I wouldn't run the motor with this noise because if the mains are bad, you could really f some things up.
