I siezed up my motor on my 86 200x, a few months ago I bought a used motor off ebay. I had to pull the side cover off of the new one and noticed that the oil pump chain has some play in it and the sprocket that drives it has A LOT of play in it. this scared me, so I looked at my old engine and that is what broke in it! when I pulled the side cover off the chain fell out in peices and the sprocket came with it. Now, my question is if that sprocket is supposed to have play in it? it will wobble a 1/4 inch either way in my new engine. I didnt see a way to tighten it down either. Was this a problem for honda? I am riding the engine right now, but I dont want sieze up another one. Any suggestions? Thankx in advance.
