Does anyone make a replacement gas tank for the 85-86 ATC250R's? I'm looking for an oversized, if anyone knows of a company that sells one, let me know.

There are probally other brands out there, but the only one that I'm familiar with is the one offered by IMS.

It's a 4 gallon tank. The problem is that they only offer it in White now. The Red has been sold out and discontinued. The same will most likely happen with the White one as well when they are gone.

I'm getting a new IMS white one to match my new white plastic. The white plastic I just got from maier is nice and shiny, unlike any other plastic I have seen from them. You'll want to get the tank from a distributor, not IMS, as the price will be much more palatable. As knowsalot stated, it's 4.0 gallons. From what I've seen there is no need to get a second opinion when dealing with this guy. I know of a less expensive place than rocky mountain if they still have them. I think $186. You could probably get $50 for your stocker on ebay if it's clean and shiny.

Thanks for the offer YZF, but I'll pass. I'm selling this thing, it has been nothing but trouble for me since December. Can't afford it and a new quad anyway.

What's the status of selling it? My offer still stands.

Well, I'm selling it to my Uncle for $500. I'd prefer he buy it because the only way I'll be getting to any riding spots is if he buys it since he is the only eprson I know with a truck. If he ends up not, I'll accept your offer if you really want to come all the way fron Nebraska.

Sounds good. I bought one off of ebay for $500 with similar problems to yours but it will cost a little more to repair.
