my friend just bought a banshee with dg pipes, and some pretty good carbuerators on it. and i am buying a stock 86 350x. so i was wondering...which would win? im guessing his banshee, and if so, is there a way i can pimp it out to beating it?

The Shee will beat you. Probably worse than a stock DS would though (that's for you Quadman). If you talk to Powroll racing or Mickey Thompson at Four Stroke Tech, and probably some other places, they'll give you some power. Make sure you keep the oil changed regularly in that machine, they run a little hot when you run them hard. I think there was a 520 big bore available for the X at one time.

 

I would take the kicH's advice and give Micky Dunlap a call.

ds's suck. my friend with the banshee wasted one up north. he also wasted a raptor, a z 400, and a 400 ex. and everything else he raced. so i guess ds's suck

 

If you want to beat a Banshee sell your 350X and get a Tri-Z. Stock and slighly modified Banshees (pipes, jets, filter and mild port and polish) are not even close to my Z.

430CC stoker/big bore kit for a %50 increase in HP. That should help you with the shee.

 

When I had my 350X, I called FTZ, and purchased a 38mm Alchol carb. I could then stay right with Tri-Z's, 250R's and yes Banshee's. I have Owned all of these Trikes and Quads , and I miss my 350X the most.
