HOW MUCH MONEY IS THIS WORTH?
#1
My friend has a 1983 yamaha tri-moto 175 and he is thinking about selling it.When he bought it the piston fried so it has new motor parts,it is in really good shape except the yellow paint faded and its got minor rust on foot pegs, axle and frame.
It needs new tires and it wont shift into gear(possible linkage failure)but the moter starts first try even if its cold,do you have any suggestions on a resonable price he can sell it for?How much would you be willing to pay if you were a buyer?
I f you have questions email me at ds650baja2001@yahoo.com, or talk to him his name here is badattitudeblaster

I don't think you'd get more than $100 in the condition its in. They are only worth about $5-800 in very good running order. The tranny prob could be big bucks to fix, so it would be hard to unload with that not known. I personally wouldn't buy one at all, but that's just me. If it's an old machine it's best to stick with Honda because there are alot more parts available for them and alot more of them around to get parts off of.
Good Luck
