The Tiger series of 3 wheelers were built RACE ONLY and were never marketed nor mas manufactured for the public (similar to cannondales minus the marketing).

My uncle had a Tiger 200 when he used to race 3 wheelers. He said it was the fastest three wheeler he ever rode!! And that is coming from a Pro Racer!

Can you imagine trying to get replacement parts for one of those beasts nowadays? I shiver at the thought.

Imagine having just bought a used Tiger 200 and then bending the axle on the very first jump. Brings tears to your eyes, doesn't it?

You know, it's a shame this company didn't survive. Reading the material available on the linked sites above, you realize that these machines were quite impressive, especially in their time.

One thing that really struck me is how that Tiger 500 had no counter-balancer in the engine, but had no vibration either. Reckon how they did that? All the guys that build CR500/KX500 trikes and quads would love to know that secret.

Vibrations really aren't that big a concern in 3 wheelers. 4 wheelers, however, it is a concern.

I have a dirt wheels mag from 1985 featuring a test of the tiger 500. Wasn't that engine air cooled? Karl

If I found any tiger and it was in good-mint shape I would ride it once to see what its like, then put it away in storage, therefor I wouldn't have any chance at breaking a part on it. Supposedly they made 80, 125,200, 250, 500 trikes and a 250 4 wheeler. Go to www.3wheeler.org and look at the pictures page of the message board at a post by kasey. He took a pic of a Tiger 500 and he actually got to ride it, too bad... someone painted it orange. This was only a few weeks ago also. A trike by Honda that is a little more rare than Tiger is a Factory 200r, not just a sleeved down 250, anyone know of any???
