I'm selling my 1985 Honda 250SX. The ATC is bone stock and in mint condition (original tires and plastic).
I'm thinking of putting it on ebay, but I'd rather avoid that hassle. What kind of price should I ask for the bike? I'm located in Ohio if in a certain region ATCs bring more than others. Thanks. |
Around me they bring $1200-1500 in that condition.

For that price, you can buy mint 350x's our here, which I may be doing soon!

TK,
tell me what is NOT original on the ATC? how many owners? please prove it's not a stollen machine? '85 250SX- i don't remember the model that well....is it 2/4 stroke? hand clutch or foot opterated semi-auto? is that headlight pod original? when was it run last? does it run? if not, then why? also, what is parked next to it covered in plastic? is that a mint '88 250R? if so, i may buy both. sincerely, -MT BTW, is all that shine a well-armoralled fender or is it non-greased stock? |
Everything is original on the ATC. I can't think of anything that I have replaced with an aftermarket piece. I am the original owner and I have the title to prove it.
It is a 4-stroke auto-clutch (lift off gas to shift foot lever, 5 speeds up). I had it running the other day to clean it up. No battery in it (old one died), but it kick-starts nicely. Sitting beside it is my 93 300EX, in equally as good of condition. Fenders on the 250sx are just clean and original--no replaced plastic. *Everything* is original. |
