Lately I have noticed that alot of heat comes from the engine of my aircooled 83 atc250R. Even when i ride just a short distance . have any idea why it could be running so hot? Am i running it too lean? I run it on 32/1 gas pre-mix. Is this bad or are these bikes supposed to get so hot.,...

Do a plug chop you are probably running lean as in low fuel to air mixture. Go one size bigger on the main jet and check the plug.
