hey is there any way to convert a 250r atc to a quad?

 

Why the heck would you want to do that? The 250r atc is the best. Im sure you could find some one out there to trade you for a quad (if its in good condition) rather than hacking it up and making it useless. Besides, the quad conversions suck. From what Ive heard, the handling sucks, less than 8 inches of crappy travel, and it uses wheelbarrow like front wheels. So if u still want a quad, auction the ATC off on ebay and get yerself something.

There were 2 conversion kits made one by astro and one by some ghetto company. The astro kit is a nice kit and has good handling. I myself havent ridden a trx250r but my friend who has raced them rode my conversion and said it had equal if not better handling. The astro kit borrows alot from the suzuki 250 but is stronger then the 250 front end. If you do get this kit I would recemmend getting rear wheel spacers.

I think it is true that it does look better as a 3wheeler. When I bought mine for $350 it already had the fourwheel conversion I didnt really care for that price. This thing handles awesome maybe it isnt the prettiest thing youve ever seen but it looks a hell of a lot better then kawasakis new vforce quad.
