It totally depends on what class you want to run in... woods racing is more tailored to you, than you to it... EFG's suggestion is good, but there are many more... the Polaris Preditor works well, so do the Cannondales... the new Yamaha ripper ( sorry not a Yamaha guy, don't remember what the new one is called ) ...DUH... ( yfz 450, in YAMWARRIOR101's sig. ), the KFX 400 & the Automatic V-Force 700 from Kawasaki work well for the people that like them... I personally like to race in the utility class on my 650 Prairie...Hope this helps...WAM

XC racing, it's the most fun you can have with your pants on! You meet great people. I made several friends at my first race. Everyone was real helpful too. At far as bike set-up, tires etc. . The racing is a blast, just a ride through the woods.... as fast as you can go! Go out and get in to it. Later Joe. Aka "Jellyroll".
