what do i do to get into racing? am i too old to start>?
hey all. what do i have to do to be able to race and what should i do to my bike to be able to race it? i was just wondering how much it would cost and if i was too old to start. i have a 1993 300EX and i have never raced before. so please filll me in.

Well I am 29 and drag racing a 250r running 5.10 in a 300 ft strip.
Can't decide to put it on alky yet.....

You're never too old. I'm 50 and started racing this year. I'll be doing my 3rd Hare Scrambles this coming Sat. in Eureka, Ut. Go to this link, read the rules, and find a local race.

38 this month and just started racing ATV MX. Never too old, that kind of thinking limit your fun way more than aging. My Dad is 62 and just finished his project V-Max after deciding that his 12 sec Mustang wasn't fast enough. You are only as old as you think you are, your body will adapt to whatever your mind tells it.

You're never too old to race, it just takes a little longer to heal. I'm 42 and just started racing 2 years ago.
I race MX and pretty much all you need is a tethered kill switch, nerf bars and number plates.
And get the best race gear you can afford, expecially boots helmet and chest protector.
Just start out slow and have a good time. My goals are to not come in last, try and pass somebody and don't get hurt.
