HOW CAN I GET STARTED RACING? I HAVE A 400EX WITH A COUPLE OF MODS. I LIVE IN THE UPPER PENINSULA OF MICHIGAN AND THERE IS ONE TRACK UP HERE. IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE SOME TRACKS THAT ARE AROUND HERE ARE TELL ME

BTW, where is the track located up there?

 

If you live in the U.P. you would race in District 16 AMA Circut. You will need an ama membership and a district membership and numbers, both of which you can get at the track. http://www.cycleusa.com/dist16/. There is a race track about 40 miles southwest of Iron Mountain, MI. It is called Pine Ridge Raceway in Athlestene, WI. You can practice there for $10 for the whole day.
