Default steering dampner

What steering dampner is best for desert racing? I am currently looking at possibly getting the Scotts dual adj steering dampner, but hot damn they want a lot for it.....

Because I have an aluminum frame, it must be one that bolts to the frame, and not drilled into the frame. I have seen some that requiring drilling and thats something I cant be doing to the alum frame

Any help be appreciated.......

if you like rebuilding your dampener every 3 months buy a denton. if you want a stabilizer for as long as you own your bike with free replacement, and service. Not to mention the ability to adjust on the fly, ability to control low speed and high speed dampening....get a GPR...it all comes down to...do you want something that will do...or something that always Does. Zhvonte if you wanna try one come to LACR this sat. night, i will let you race on my personal race bike so you can see how the dampener works

okay, if you havent noticed...i do work for GPR...Everyone always compares the GPR to the Scotts...yet they are COMPLETELY different...the only thing they have in common is the fact that they mount NEAR the handle bars. We sell a "on-top of the bars" dampener for motorcycles and road bikes, but all atv dampeners mount to the steering stem, and the bars mount to the dampener (*which makes them race legal in Euro). the biggest difference in the scotts and the GPR is how the dampening is achieved...which i will not even begin to get into. the scotts is adjusted with a screw driver...ours has a large **** so it can be adjusted while riding at full race pace. the **** has detents at its highest and lowest setting for "feel" reference. you can go from 1-6 or 6-1 without having to go through the whole stroke. There are over 120 levels of adjustment on our dampener with the **** alone! the #'s on the **** are just there for reference. we can adjust high speed and low speed dampening to your liking. we offer a full lifetime warranty and service free of charge. Our dampener mounts underneath your handle bars which also acts as an anti-vibe unit. they are available in a variety of colors, and can be purchased seperate, or as a kit (kit includes Roll Design steering stem, GPR stabilizer, Renthal fat bars/Tag t-2, and bar pad). Our dampener also allows you to run a much needed bar pad, in the event that you make contact with it...you wont have a **** go through your chest. The best selling point for our dampener is to put it on your bike and let you take it for a ride....after that you wont want any other dampener.
