What steering dampner is best for desert racing? I am currently looking at possibly getting the Scotts dual adj steering dampner, but hot damn they want a lot for it.....

Because I have an aluminum frame, it must be one that bolts to the frame, and not drilled into the frame. I have seen some that requiring drilling and thats something I cant be doing to the alum frame

Any help be appreciated.......

if you like rebuilding your dampener every 3 months buy a denton. if you want a stabilizer for as long as you own your bike with free replacement, and service. Not to mention the ability to adjust on the fly, ability to control low speed and high speed dampening....get a GPR...it all comes down to...do you want something that will do...or something that always Does. Scotts or GPR

 

okay, if you havent noticed...i do work for GPR...Everyone always compares the GPR to the Scotts...yet they are COMPLETELY different...the only thing they have in common is the fact that they mount NEAR the handle bars.
