Default Nor cal MX at Cycleland

The Fall schedule is here...

there has been a bunch of new faces showing up...keep coming guys
race dates are Oct5 and 19th November 2nd and 16th

4 classes to choose from...

For those that have never been out the track is tight and a lot of fun for everything from bone stock 400 to full race quad

Bring a three wheeler? I'd call and talk with the track owner. He has his cell number on the track ans machine

The beginner class is a TRUE beginner class...we are ruthless on sandbaggers in the quad class...last Sunday I think there were 6 beginners all had stock suspension bikes and were new comers to racing.

After a couple of wins in the beg class we start teasing you until you move up into intermediate...most of the people are friendly and just out for a good time...come race the beginner class

I'm working on getting a temporary 440ex until December/January so I should be out there racing...otherwise I'll just be out there waiving my hat around in the air and rooting everyone on. Cycleland

I think I'm gonna try and make the oct 15 race.
I am a beginer, my quad is bone stock and I've only riden twice on a MX track so I don't think I'll be sandbaggin..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

How many laps do the beginners do?
Are there age groups?
Do I need any required equipment? Tether, nerfs etc?

Usually do 6-8 laps per moto

There is a youth class, but after that its just beg int pro

If there was enough we could add a veteran class/girls class etc


As far as equipment...just helmet, boots, goggles, gloves
I'd suggest having atether kill switch though

I'll try and get some pics of the quads in action out there

Seeing I'm 38 I don't think I'll pass for the youth class..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
I'm starting to get excited..This could be really fun for me!!!
