Default What classes can I run?

I am going to start racing this summer and need to know what classes I can run. Right now I'm 15, so will I have to race in youth classes? What am I going to need (like ama card and district rider card) and where do I get them? I was reading the rule book and it says you have to have a parent at the event with you or someone over 18 with you, but I will be going with other kids my age (one is 16 and will be the one driving us around). Is there anything I can do about it or am I pretty much screwed without a parent or guardian?

The best thing to do is check with the track or tracks you think you maybe racing at. Here in KY if your parent cant be with you the tracks require a notarize statement from your parents but also someone 18 year or older to sign the forms at the track.

You will also need to check with the tracks and see if they will allow you to race a Raptor or Banshee at your age. If the race is AMA/ATVA sanctioned you will not be allowed to ride these bikes. You will be limited to riding a 200cc 2-stroke or 300cc 4-stroke until you turn 16.
