There is a race series in New England. We race on two tracks.
Jolly Roger in Lempster, NH. This track is under 3 hours from Hartford. It is more of a supercross type track. Hard dirt and a ton of jumps. We raced there yesterday. I think the owner said the track is almost a mile and ½ with 21 jumps. It is a very fast track.
Moto338 in Southwick MA. This is the same track the National Bikes use. It is mostly sand and will get very whooped out. A few killer jumps and a ton of high berms. Most of the track is perfectly flat at the beginning, but by the end of the race, we make berms about 4 feet high. Oh, yeah, did I mention huge whoops.
This coming Saturday, we have a race at Southwick. July 16th. Come on down to watch or race. But I will warn you, if you ride and only come to watch, you will wish you were racing.
You will need the usual safety gear on your body. Your quad will need nerfs and a kill switch.
The two things you will have to join are AMA ($30) and NEATVA-MX ($25). These two memberships are good for a year. I would join the track and trail membership ($5 more) because you will get all the information about trails and such in New England.
You can visit the websites of the tracks.

If you have any questions, or want better directions to the tracks let me know. Heck I can even give you a walk around of the tracks before you go. Oh, I can also give you some suggestions on which class to enter depending on rider and quad.
