Actually the most you can ride is a 200cc two-stroke. Like the blaster. I THINK here in wisconsin once you are atleast 12 and have a safety thing for taking a course you can ride up to a 250cc. I THINK. Thats just one someone said to my dad when we were riding.

Really though, the rule needs to be there, because if you let all the 13 year old kids on big quads, and just one of them gets hurt, it's not worth it just to make the others happy. I don't care what any young kid says, a big quad is just a handful, and without the weight, strength, and experience, a bigger quad can be more than dangerous. I feel bad for bigger kids like you mxquadracer, but if they let you race, they'd have to let all the 105lb kids your age race too, and thats just not safe at all.

I could just see some 250r's racing a bunch or 300ex's and smaller. Ha ha ha. It doesn't take a genius to know what I would be on. I think that the size limit is 200cc. If it isn't , it should be. It couldn't be competitive like that.

mxquadracer:
You are welcome to come race in WI at the Wisconsin Quad Series. There are even a few races at Wheeler and Arkansaw ( both near the WI/MN state line). Check the WI website in my signature for more info or Motobill.com . It may take a little surfing on those sites to find the rules and dates. You can however race your 400ex as long as you are 14 and capable of handling it ( I am assuming you are) in the 4 stroke B class. Good Luck.

Try your best to make the Gravity Park events especially Quadlympics in August. It's a top notch facility and well worth the trip. I won't be making the first Wheeler/Arkansaw weekend due to a family wedding but I plan on being at the rest. It's a great racing series with lots of good sponsors and friendly/fun to race against competition.
