I have been riding for about 6 years now and i was wondering where I can race at. I have a tricked out 250r and is set up for MX..I am 16 and i live in Mi. Could I go to red Bud and sign up for a race and pay the entry fee and go race? or is it more complicated? Thanks for your help..i would appreciate any responses or internet addresses to help me out..

To race at Red Bud you need to be an AMA member.

Just go to your local cycle shop. They should know everything you need to know to get started.

You live in MI? Well that is good, as they have a great atv racing program. I race in Mi almost everyweek. First-is your quad equipt with a tether kill switch? And nerf bars? If not they will not let you race-if you dont have let me know and i will bring both so you can try it. Next-you have to bring a parent or guardian to sign a release at the track, and you will need to sign up for the ama, and district 14-both of which can be done at the track. Then sign up in the quad c class. Dutch is racing Sept 18 and 19 and Redbud is racing on the 25-The race on the 26 is the fourstroke nationals-no quads on that day. Goodluck.
