300EX Race Bike?
#1
I was wondering what it takes to build a 300ex Race Bike, that will keep up with mildly modified 400ex's. What is needed for it to run with stock 400ex's? I have heard of the 410 kits and stuff, but where would I find anything like that and how much would it cost me? Any help given will be appreciated! Thanks! I will also try to help anyone who needs it, just ask.

What kind of racing are you talking about? For any kind or racing besides drag or duning, the best mods you can do are handling mods(a-arms, shocks, axle). You could take a 300ex with a 410 big bore in it and nothing else and match it up against a stock motor 300 with the suspension mods on an mx track and that 410 would be left in the dust. It doesnt matter how much power you have in racing, its how well the power can actually be used.

considering i have all the handling problems covered, would the kit be well worth the money. I dont feel like getting a 400ex cause i want my bike to be one of a kind. where would i find the kit?

Powroll.com in Oregon does a 352 stroker, that kits major butt. On a flat track it pulls away from piped 400ex's. They Stroked my 400 crank and it rocks so I say go with powroll.
