Has anyone raced the new raptor yet? I'm thinking about doing 4 stroke begginner at the local track after I add a pipe, high flow filter and a jet kit. Anyone have anything else to add or opinions about racing the raptor

I believe it should do pretty good since the new suspension upgrades, with a pipe filtered and rejetted you should be able to keep up with the modded 300ex with the bore kits.

What about re-gearing? What set up would work best on a motocross style track

i believe dropping a tooth on the front might work pretty well it will help you get a better holeshot. Also if you get new tires for mx,i would run holeshot mx tires.

Alright thanks for all the replys, but how many teeth are on the stock sprocket?. I'm 14 now but by the time the track opens up (largest indoor in USA) I'll be 15. Hopefully some more mods will become available before then

Some of the Warrior mods should work. Shouldn't they? Same motor.

yeah the warrior exhaust, air filters are all the same and i'm sure inside the engine is to.the rear sprocket has 38 teeth and the front i think is a 13 tooth, but not sure it could be 12 i'll have to check on it.
