coming over to get a load of parts soon, suspension and performance bits for a Z400 about $4000 worth. is tax the same in all the states or is one state cheaper than another?
I was going to try Alba as easy to get to and carry all the parts i need. any one else i should try, any state is good.

The tax is different in every state. I think there's a few that don't have sales tax but it's not Califonia that's for sure.

I have to pay import duty when i bring home you see. but is still up to 1/2 the price we have to pay here

 

all i no is
kentucky - .06cents on $1
ohio - .07 cents on $1
west virginia - .06 (i think) on the $1

 

In pa its .06 and oregon there is no tax

 

i beleive it's .06 for indiana and i beleive .05 for illinois?? or maybe it's .06

 

yeah, in new hampshire there's no sales tax, in massachusetts its .05 on the dollar. i usually go to NH if i can find what i want someplace there. hopes this helps.... btw, do you mean you pay up to 50% tax in britain?? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

no we pay 25% income tax
17,5 %sales tax.
a new YFZ450 or honda is about $90000.
a gallon of fuel is nearly $7.50
