I was practicing last week at my local MX track on my '86 250R and I broke a ball joint, spindle, brake caliper, and bent a tie rod. I have stock length Laeger a-arms and I was wondering if I have to get a Laeger tie rod or if a stock honda tie rod would work? Also are the tie rod ends stock honda? Thanks for your help.

as long as the new leager a-arms are of stk length, a stock oem tie rod will work fine. the only difference is that the leager tie rod will be "thicker". the tie rod ends will be stk honda oems. leager uses stock rod ends and nuts from honda, rod ends are expensive for what they are, expect to pay around 50.00$ a pop at your local honda dealer. hope this helps, and hope to see your bike running soon!
