Hey Jerry, what are you doing to practice? Need someone to practice with? I beleive they opened Riverfront on Saterday for the winter practice schedule. 17 has a point! it would be nice to get a feel for the track a little so we don't look like rookies on race day. I never know when you are home I will send you my phone #. give me a call we can do some quad talk.
I heard you were at Sand Mountain the last time I was there. On Columbis day weekend. Thats funny, I can almost hit your house with a rock and we both go to Sand Mountain the same weekend and not even know it. The nights were very dark.

 

Unfortunately there probably won't be a practice day before the race, they have never had just a practice day but I'll see what I can do. They won't even let me practice on it. I'm surprised that you were able to see the track since its gated and at the end of the drag strip of sacramento raceway. I haven't even seen it since the last race so I don't know if they have lengthened it yet.
I appreciate all the quad turn out we can get. It would be nice to keep a local track instead of having to travel minimum 1 1/2 - 2 hrs to compete. I checked the calender of other local tracks before our date was set and promoters such as mutant didn't have any races scheduled on the 5th until like a week later. We still should have a decent turn-out.

 

Practice? Who needs practice!(LOL) I don't really know. Might try to do a mutant race or do a race at marysville or cycleland. Also going to try and and get up to Sand mt thanksgiving weekend - weather permitting.
I'm usually home after 6pm, in and out on the weekends.

 

Jerry I just looked at Mutant racing and they are racing the new E-street track next Sunday, and they are racing ClubMoto on Dec 5th.

Hey, I couldn't make it to the Marysville Mutant race this weekend- I just got my bike back together this afternoon - I have a another guy that might like to run at the Dec. 5th race. We need some more info from you if you could get it - since we are coming from about 2 hrs away it would be nice to know what is going on -

I presume that they will give us a morning practice, a couple three or four laps - like most do. Then will they set us up for early motos or back to back- I know Mutant does that to clear the track for the little guys on bikes- Can you find out possibly when they might run us- I know they won't usually know until the day - but an idea would be great -

Also, on the web page you gave - is there over night camping available for trailer hook ups

As for getting on the track that day- the gates were opened and we just drove out there - there was no one around except for a guy working on his dragster - We didn't walk the track - we just took at look at it from the drag strip - Then we left -

 

As of right now, there will be Beg,Novice & Inter classes. We will also have a Peewee class for 90cc, 12 years & under. So bring the little ones. Practice will start at 8 am, not sure of practice order yet & will consist of probably 3 laps for practice. The races will be a 2 moto format and not sure of the race order yet. We'll probably be either one of the first or last classes in each moto. Hopfully there will be some more info on the website in the next couple of days. Jerry.

 

Jerry I was talking to Scott at <u>West Coast ATV</u> and we were laughing because we both hope they are only 3 lap races. you know he doesn't race mx and I'm just plain old.
