Hello.I've tried many different pipes.DO NOT buy the T-6(traded them for T-5's).The T-6's had NO top end.The T-5's were alot better. If you get the Toomey's get their needles also.T-5's work great on stock and mildly ported 350's.If you are going to get an all out drag porting , you will need some bigger race pipes.I'm using RDZ's in-frame race pipes. Also just switched to alcohol, and still trying to get the jetting right.Getting better results already, and think there is more in this engine.CPI's are also a good race pipe.Never used them, but I saw them on some very fast bikes.

as always maddog is a big help. rdz is right, go with t5s or rockets for a highly ported banshee

What is a "highly ported" banshee anyway? Do you mean aggressive port? Drag port? Something other than a trail port? He said he was going to port it, nothing about the actual port itself.
Rocket and CPI pipes are for dunes and drags, and more specifically not the best for stock bikes compared to T5/T6 and FMF offerings. Just a port job does not denote such pipes since he doesnt plan on building the engine up more than that for a very long time.
I told him to search so he could get some good info. He is also a new member and probably is not aware of just how much info has already been posted on this.
You posting a pile of drivel reinforces the need to search for multiple opinions.

I was just giving my opinion. The best advice I can give him is to either talk to guys you ride with that have already modified their Banshees or call around and try to find someone you can trust to port it and see what pipes they would suggest.Make sure you tell them what you plan to do with the bike;drag racing, trail riding,etc...

From time to time new company's come out with new pipe's and other products ect..... As well as people seem to always have a new or different opinion on the question that has been ask before.... If you don't want to answer the question thats fine..... But to tell a new member to do a search is rude..........That being said, I think if for a top end pipe..... I would go with.... CPI, Roket,or the t-5's...........

I'm not going to defend myself all day, its getting old.
Letting the member know about the info in the yammi forum is helpful, not rude. I didnt say "Go search you newbie!" or otherwise demean him. Its a legitimate question, just a common one so I referred him to a good source.
New members have new opinions, but there are around 55 thousand members who have already weighed in on most topics like these. Rather recently I might add, and including rocket and T6 pipes which are relatively new.
I offered help and advice, so I did answer the question. I've also answered it many times in the Yamaha forum. You however did not answer the question. He asked about 3 different pipes, you made the same recommendations back to him without making any distinctions b/w the three except to recommend the t5 over the t6 which had already been posted in this very thread.
And thanks Banshee392. Newcomers have been doing a fairly good job in that we've seen a lot less of the "this vs that" posts and "how fast can it go" posts. This post is special in that its a pretty good question that just needs a couple more specifics and would get a lot more traffic and help if posted in the yamaha forum.
