Trick out your motor, new shocks, axle, a-arms etc etc and you can beat the 400's, and stock shees. It all depends how much money you have and who does the motorwork. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

like they all said, only a nicely modded blaster could take on a Z400(stock)

 

And a Chevette with a big block can out run a stock Corvette but does anyone really think they are in the same league.

 

ok.. i wouldnt go as far as saying the blaster is a kids toy , yea its a "entry level sport quad" but that doesnt mean its for kids , im not tryin to brag b,cuz i happen to own a blaster and im not no kid im jus telling you a 200cc 2stroke 6speed manual clutch kickstart quad isnt produced for kids , and why do i always see these a$$ holes on this forum talkin bout "thats a dumb question" ? i jus see a bunch of dumbass awnsers , i know a stock blaster aint beatin no z400 and maybe you think you know, but obviusly the person askin doesnt know or maybe they wouldnt ask.

A blaster CAN take a Z400, it's all about who did the engine work and how much was done.

 

First off to the guy who said its not a kids quad, if your 16 or under your a kid. Don't nobody tell me that Blasters are marketed to anyone under 16, hell I'm 5'10" and my knees hit the bars. Secondly Banshee392 (that rides a blaster) you've said the same thing a couple of times. Anything can beat anything if you put enough money in it. It dosn't mean it's a valid comparison.

Legally, my friend, you're a kid if you're under 18. That's the age at which your parents can kick you out and you're on your own. Until then you're a "kid".

Generally speaking a "Kid" is viewed similar to a youngster, someone nowhere NEAR the age of 16, where you should be starting to get some smarts and learning how to spell and use proper grammar.

As the offending poster indicated, a Blaster is NOT a kid's quad. Kid's quads are small in size and CC's, have simple controls that "kids" can understand and use.

A Blaster IS a low level entry level sport quad with a ton of whoopass potential. Yeah the Z-400 is whoopass too, but that doesn't mean the Blaster is crap. They've served a lot of people very well over the years.

Another thing to consider .. a 35 year old man who's short / small in stature would fit nicely on the Blaster. Does that make him a kid? Not all adults are 6' tall. Not all kids are 4' tall.

So let's stop the generalizing. The original post was Blasty Vs. z400 ... in what respect? Affordability? Speed? Power? Hop-up potential? Suitability for a particular rider / riding style??? The post is vague at best.

 

5"10 I didnt know they stacked sh@t that high dont underestimate the blaster it has the best power to weight ratio in its class, nimble in the air and with the right mods can take the 400.
