Trail = 300EX
Track = Blaster
Mod Contest = Blaster
Reliablity = 300EX

if i were you i wouldn't waste my money on a blaster they are not reliable and you will have nothing but trouble out of them

The 300ex would be the best for everything

STOCK BLASTER= 50 to 53 there slow
STOCK 300ex = 55 topped out

to me there both slow but if you want something thats going to last get the 300ex also the 300ex would do just as good on a track or better they wouldn't lose

On straight aways the Blaster would get the jump but the 300ex would pass it up in 4th or 5th
it wouldn't beat it bad but it would beat it

the blaster would be a better mx quad since its light. i have raced 300 ex's with the same amount of parts as my blaster and won all around. with the right parts a stock blaster can be really quick.

Blaster top speed= 57 mph

300ex top speed= 55 mph

if your goin for trail ridin i would definatlly go for the 300 EX i have rode with both in the river bottoms and the 300 ex would always start back up..... and have more power to bogg through the trails... to me stock blasters are for lil girls... cheap to buy and cheap built...a couple seniors last year had them and they were pushin 6'0 160 pounds and they were a lil bit out of place on a blaster..

that pretty much sums it up. dont MX a 300ex. they are better suited for the trails. blasters arent that great for the trails but you can do it. they have almost no low end but that midrange hit is really good. stock anyways. the blaster will top out 55-57 and the 300ex around the same, maybe a few MPH higher but they are really close. blasters are reliable enough... maybe not as reliable as a 300ex but i havent had ANY problems with mine a year and a half running hard. this is my opinion.
