Alright i'm looking for some help on racing atv's...I really don't know much about atv's because i've usually raced and rode snowmobiles but i'm going to give this a try..so any pointers or help would be awesome. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

what kind of help???? Be a little more specific ; Do you need to know what kinda quad to get ?

 

need more info how tall are you and how much do you weight also have you ever ridden a quad before and how much are you wanting to spend!!

K well i'm 5'6' and about 120 er 125 lbs and turning 16 next month... oh and i'm a girl if that makes any difference.
I wanna know the works like what kind of quad i should get and what size. I rode snowmobiles like all my life but i dunno if that counts for anything?

 

alright well you sound alot like me in hight and weight but im a guy well i think the riging snow mobils would help alot as long as you know how 2 ride since you have been riding a while id say so. I think you should get a HONDA b/c of the reliability something like a 300ex or something like that its not 2 fast but it will get you around and its a great beginers bike. if you feel confident with a fast machine go with the suzuki 400z but thats going 2 be a hard class 2 race in the 400z handles very well and it has alot of tourk but and its meant for racing. suzuki makes great bikes also there right beside honda 2 me or another good one would be the raptor 350 anyone of those 3 bikes are great..



If you lookign for an older model 4 stroke go with the 250x like mine a 1988 model but be ready to put some money in to it to get it race ready iv put alot in mine and right now im right beside th 400ex.

another thing with th 300ex youll half 2 put some money into it 2 get it race worhy for its class b/c there are some stiff compotition in the blaster class 200cc 2 stroke to 300cc 4 stroke. my bike is very very fast for its size im very happey with it a 250x it right beside a 400ex thats an acomplishment.
