After being at the GNC banquet this past weekend, it was annouced that the limit on the 4-strocke was going to be if possible movied back to 400cc instead of the new limit of 440cc. So if you are planning on running the GNC nationals next year you might want to wait on having your engine done for another week or so. If you need another info go to ATVSCENE.com and click on the Nov. 2 or 3 issure and It talks about all of the other changes, but he did forget about the new plus 25 class.

I really wish they would put this issue to bed. My motor is sitting in Sparks shop awaiting the decision. They should have just left it at 416, rather than flip flopping.

To me if they were going to make a decision like this they should have polled racers in the Nationals to see how they felt about it. To me it seems like that would have been better than making the ruling and then backing down because of opposition.

Dont get me wrong I understand why the 250R guys wouldnt want to run against YZ440's, but it is just to bad that they couldnt have voiced there opinions before the decision was made. If they just would have polled or had a vote from National racers we wouldnt have to wait now.
