My 686 is down waiting on parts so I am gonna use the wifes rappy 350 for our desert race on the 9th, I'm sure I'll get flamed for racing it, but what the heck last place points is better than no points at all.

Try using the YFZ shocks for the 350...it will make the front end a tad higher but the ride quality will be a tad better.

Any mods to the 350?

nope, only drilled holes in the airbox lid. I did put my 22" XCT's on the rear and 23" on the front and I ordered a set of Gforce wheel spacers all around. I am gonna set the front shocks to max preload and and do the same on the rear. My YFZ shocks are down for the count right now, I think they are too long anyway. The race is this sunday 4-09-06 so dont have time or money to do any real mods to it, besides it's the wifes bike and she dont race I am just using it this time so I can get some points and dont fall too far behind in the standings.

Well it did better than I thought it would, this was one of the hardest courses we have done yet, it was more af a hare scramble and was very technical. However after the wheel spacers as a last minute add on, I managed to take 5th place out of the 8 amatuers that finished, so I am very happy with that. Pulled me down 70 points, so I should for sure end up top 5 for the season.
