Sounds like you don't know much about the class you'd be running in with that 250ex of yours.
Here's some advise when asking for some advise..... don't knock it till you've done it.
I totally agree with fastestkid..... get a better 200-250 then start racing...
My son's blaster pulls most modded 250r's (yes, R's) and hasn't fallen apart in the two years we've been racing.

No problem fastestkid ... I see you're looking into pipes on your page... Go Toomey.(B1) ... great people to deal with and they make a great pipe. Infact, CT pipes are almost exactly the same pipe but Toomey's seemed have more bottom end (we've tested both) on our race blaster. The CT header was a bit narrower by the upper header mount.
