I AM SETTING UP MY SONS 300EX FOR A DRAG RACE. I AM LOOKING FOR SET UP ADVISE. AS IN GEARS TO RUN,SUSPENTION SET UP ECT... MODS RIGHT NOW ARE FMF PIPE,STAGE 2 JET KIT,NO AIR BOX LID. THAT IS ABOUT IT. ANT HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

i used to drag my 300 and i ran mine with a HMF pipe ....K&N filter no air lid......dyno jet kit.......i llowerd my suspentions and cut my plastic for less air resistence and i put 20 inch tires in the rear and 21s up front for harder acceleration if u really wanna get him moviegin u should put low end sporckets ina 330 bore and a hotcam...thatl let him take some 400s

 

he will be running 16x10x9 rear tires, any sugestion on the gearing that will work the best for these tires?

 

What type of track will he be racing on[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]irt,sand,etc...?
How long is the tracks he'll be racing on too?
