Default cam2 racing gas

ok, so guys tell me to try this 110 octane racing gas and that i will be able to tell the difference, they said the lead in the fuel will help cover any scratches in the cylinder wall thus giving better compression, and so on, said the engine would run cooler, and so on, so i tried it and the only thing i can tell is that the inside of the pipe is white and the exhaust smells sweet so i did not tell any difference, except it cost me 5 bucks a gallon

Need a high compression piston to get the full benefit of 110 octane. I have a buddy who runs 1/2 and 1/2 (cam2 and 93 octane), he claims his stock 450r runs cooler with it. I can't see paying for it, unless I am getting more power.

Like PredatorSlim said, if you don't have about a 12.0 to 1 or higher your just wasting your $$$$ that could be spent on other things that could make your ride go faster.
Race gas does have more additives that will make a race engine run cooler. The only problem is, with a stock Low compression engine, if you use race gas in it, the burn will be so slow and late, it will get the pipe red hot because the flame is burning out the pipe.

Save your money on things to make your quad go faster.
