since i had no luck in the honda forum ill try here. i wondered what are the best mods for my motor i just sent my head to get ported and a three angle valve job this week. it is being done by a reputable motor builder. i wondered who make the best cam for mx. i was thinking the TC stage 2 cam. i want to be untouchable! i have a friend who has a 300EX built by the same guy thats doing my motor and it kills all the 400s it has raced so far this year but they wont tell me what they did to it. also my friend is doin the same to his as i am to mine he has a white bros all around cam and his motor is almost identical to mine and he wants to know what carb to run he cant afford the lectron like i have. he was thinking a LT 250R or honda 250R carb or 400Ex what is the best? and lastly will a 350X kickstarter side cover fit on a 250X motor (my reverse is blocked off and i dont use the comp release)

I would go TC, but that is personal preference...

What size Lectron are you running on your 265??

Not sure on the side case issue though...

 

i was running a 38 mm lectron. it was made for an R but i welded up an adaptor out of aluminum for it to fit. i sold it to my best friend for his R. it really wasnt doing me any good because for my stock port motor and stock cam. now i got an R carb but my wheeler has been in pieces for a while! ive been selling lots of suspension parts to ppl so i can do my motor up! im going to update the signature when i get it done!

 

Wondering if you had any pics of your machine? I also have a 91 250x, I am getting into racing hare srambles and would like to get other A arms, axles and motor mods, but really do not understand the + and - on the A arms. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks, Jeff

about the aarms im not to good at explinatoins so bear w/ me +2 is the most common like what i had but i sold them to friend. it means there is 2 inches added to each side of the arms over stock it is the first or only number in some cases when ppl are talking about them. the second number means how much they are moved foward over stock. hope that helps! eric
