Do you guys think my chances are good on getting permits for the pond and the track. My dad says that i must get permits or i cant have it. he says that he thinks my chances are bad because it is farm land.

Can't help you with the permit, but I'm sure it would all depend on where you live and what the local ordinance is. I'm not aware of needing any permits here, but you would want to make sure not just anyone can hop on your land and start riding (and killing themselves) on it. Also, if there are any close neighbors that don't like noise, they could get it shut down by complaining about it.
These are huge obstacles, and I've read plenty of stories about tracks getting shut down because they were too noisy. If you know the neighbors and get along with them, you're probably half way there. If not, it's worth talking to them to see what they would think of it. It's better if you talk to them now before all the work goes in, then having them talk to you after all the work is done.
Also, talk to a County Administrator or something and tell them what you are wanting to build, and that it's for private use only (not a business).
The 300ex is a decent machine, and yours looks nice. Hope to see your track become a reality.

Please dont call it a "bobcat"!
That's like calling every sedan in the world a civic, and every utility a sportsman, and every sport quad a raptor.
bobcat makes SKID STEERS, they arent the only ones though.
Skidsteers are AMAZING for building a track though. They are the easiest vehicles the drive BY FAR.
