There is no MX track. This track is entirely woods, plus some open areas. The track is around 12 miles in length. The track is actually located at a YMCA youth camp facility. Some of the proceeds from the HS event are being donated to the YMCA.

We are also running mini-quads as an exhibition event. There will be a 50cc and 90cc class (CPSC age/cc recommendations will be in effect - sorry, but our hands are kind of tied on that one). We will be giving a prize, plaque, or something along those lines to every youth who enters the mini-quad classes. Let's have some fun!

The Norsemen Motorcycle club is the host for this event. Go to www.norsemenmc.org.

I will be going. SaMsOn, look me up when you arrive on Saturday afternoon and we can camp/pit together.

Is it a 60 or 120 minute event? Morning or afternoon?
Thanks for the info.

Ya I'll look for you when Gaetan and I arrive. Not sure if we'll be sleeping in the camp ground or staying at a motel.

Jaxberg, where did you get the info about the race. Most HS races I attended where only one hour, except the Moose off road series held at Millville. I think a two hour race will be awsome though, just gotta get my poor legs in shape

Hope to see ya there.

I'll be racing district 23 harescrambles. Is may 6 the first harescramble of the season. I received an MX schedule from Dis. 23 and that was it.

cstark is right, the Norsemen web site does say 1hr duration for Quads (it makes no mention of A vs. B vs. Utility)

However the orange flyers we had made up that were sent out to the dealers and such say 2 hrs for the Sport Quad class.

I indeed thought we were going to have the Sport Quads go for two hours. I am trying to get a hold of the event coordinators at the Norsemen to resolve this. I'll post as soon as I hear from them.

Does anybody have a preference?

Joe

I would prefer a 2 hour event. Here is a complete schedule for anyone that is interested. If you have a chance to make it out to any of these....Do it. It is a blast and a great way to back our sport.

Date Promoter Location
MAY 6 NORSEMEN MONTICELLO
MAY 13 HI-WINDERS MILLVILLE
AUGUST 26 NORTHERN LITES BRAINERD
SEPTEMBER 16 PINE ISLAND OFF ROAD MILLVILLE
SEPTEMBER 22-23 NORSEMEN AKELEY
OCTOBER 14 GOLDEN EAGLES MAZEPPA

At Monticello the Sport Quads will indeed be racing for 2 hours.
