Any racers in Fort Wayne?
#1
I just moved to Fort Wayne area and am looking for places and someone to ride with. Also looking for some races in the area if you know of any. I race GNCC but will probably run some local MX (plymouth, N. Webster??). From what I hear there isn't alot of riding unless you know someone with property. If you have some info on some MX tracks and numbers that would be great. Looking to race next weekend somewhere around hear.
Thanks for the help, Nick

Good luck.. I haven't been able to find anything up here! Rode at Trojan Raceway in N. Webster once, but wasn't supposed to be there. On the north-east side of the track there is a spot where you can ride over the bank and get in. There were some guys there from Ohio, so I went and got my Warrior and decided to join them.
If you do find anything up this way, let me know. I would love to have some people/places to ride with/at.
For now I just go to Haspins whenever I get the chance, and play in the iddy-bitty feild behind the house.

Hey Wood warrior;
I did find some info on riding and racing in the area. I raced at North Webster last night the poeple that put it on have a website (they operate 5 tracks in Indiana - www.readsracing.com). There are hare scrambles in Culver Indiana and Ligoner, IN. Ligoner has an 80 acre facility that if you are a member you can ride there - not just race ($40 annual membership). I'm going to start racing the local MX races with reads, seams to be the way to go around here. They have B and A class (I run C in XC but was fairly competetive in B - so anyone can race).
Hope this helps;
Nick
