In district 16 you can run in the following classes...
-4 stroke B
-2 stroke B
-Open A

Open A is the only class that pays $, the other 2 get trophies up to 10th place.

You have to pay $39 to join AMA/ATVA the $15 for a district 16 card. B class races are $20 and A class races are $25 each race.

You have to have things like nerfbars, tether switch, working brakes...

You will want at least a Blaster or 250X to start with. I think you have to be 16 years old too.

Another place to race is Tigerton/Embarrass River ATV. It isn't AMA sanctioned but any age can race and there are classes for utility quads.

Tigerton has a small, easy track and a trail system. You can find more info HERE.
